In public tenders or in larger projects, we play the role of an engineer - designer. We design, calculate and detail shelters and awnings for courtyards, playgrounds or other public squares. In the first instance, we integrate the client's baseline requirements, paying particular attention to architectural quality. After approval of the design, we determine all technical requirements in the tendering documents. We assist our clients in the tendering process and in surveying the installation works.

In a project for a new primary school we designed a shelter for the playground. The tender documents were split up into two parts: one for anchors and foundations to be installed by the general contractor, and one for the membrane to be installed by a specialised membrane contractor.

We assisted the local authority in a design- and build tendering procedure for a dismountable shelter over the market square. In a first phase, we designed the foundations before knowing the design. Afterwards, we surveyed the design proposed by the membrane contractor. The shelter can be dismantled by the city's maintenance staff - this was one of the main requirements of the council.

For a renovation project for the Parc du Moulin in Arlon we designed a shelter for an event square. In collaboration with the landscape architect we integrated foundations and water drainage in the natural surroundings of the park - taking into account the Gallo - Roman site and the underground sources of the Semois river.
